The year may be winding down, but Corvil never stops! Here, we’re always looking to expand and grow. We don’t measure growth just by numbers in a spreadsheet. At Corvil, growth means learning from one another — a value that will guide us in the new year and beyond!

We’re proud to share what members of our team from a breadth of departments (and countries!) had to say about our exciting culture and their own meaningful experiences here. For Corvil, these are just a few of our favorite things — and it’s so much more than the delicious coffee!

Pete Shanahan - Senior Engineer Build/Integration, Dublin
Corvil is a very energetic company. We're constantly developing our software for our customers, and there's a great buzz of people sharing ideas between each other. It's very open, and with these easy interactions, there's a strong feeling that everyone can help bring development forward every day.

That's not to say that builds always succeed - sometimes people make mistakes, and when that happens there is the little roar of a Wookie through the office to hint that it's not all going right!

But we hold daily stand-ups to keep people up to date on team development towards our goals. We have demonstrations of the features that were developed in the previous work cycle, allowing us to showcase the features that we've added to the product to the entire team. This helps people see the effects of their work, which is great for giving people a sense of ownership and belonging. When you demonstrate your feature to the team, it gives you a great boost! To help with development, we follow a few important continuous integration practices and builds of our product. This gives us a regular heartbeat, and if development is intense, then naturally, the heartbeat speeds up. Continuous testing prevents delivering low quality software to our customers, and there’s no greater feeling than catching these problems before they get to our customers. It means more time spent on delivering features and improvements, which is what most developers want.

Michael Sanderson - Sales Development Representative, London
Working in Sales for Corvil is incredibly fast-paced and dynamic, requiring you to always be learning and building on your knowledge of the product to keep up in a constantly developing market. Corvil’s flexibility in its offering needs to be mirrored by Sales, so we constantly adapt and tailor solutions to solve problems for our global clients.

Ryan McMullan - eLearning Content Producer, Dublin
Providing best-in-class eLearning material to support our product is something that we, at Corvil, have really strived to achieve since the launch of our first course, Corvil Essentials, just over a year ago. Since then, we’ve continued to add numerous waves of new material to our growing library of resources, to really help our customers get the most out of the product. We know we have a world class product, which our customers get superb value from, so it’s up to us in the eLearning department to emulate that same level of quality in our content.

Jane Morrin - Director of Digital Marketing, Dublin
Bring your skates to the office… because the pace is fast! Being surrounded every day by people with a thirst for knowledge, education, and fulfillment is energizing, rewarding and most of all fun. On the marketing team we move swiftly between being proactive and reactive, so no day is ever the same. Corvil is growing rapidly so it’s an exciting time to be a part of that. By the way, I really, really like the coffee.

Michele MacLeod - Director of Operations and Client Services, Americas
Working at Corvil enables me to reconnect with people I know and respect throughout the industry, as I know first-hand how our product addresses real issues faced by companies within financial services. In my current position, I get to interact with the “best and the brightest” both on the client side and at Corvil. I love the fact that the business is constantly changing and we are right in the middle of it!

Karol Augustin - System Test Engineer, Dublin
In QA, we make sure that the final product delivered to our customers is the best possible. We have to work fast and keep adapting to the changing product. Every day there is a new scenario to test and a new test environment to set up. As the work constantly changes, it is the most interesting job possible.

Corvil safeguards business in a machine world. We see a future where all businesses trust digital machines to algorithmically conduct transactions on their behalf. For some businesses, this future is now.
