Corvil was honored to assist bringing about a recent meeting between Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) technology executives and Irish Minister for Financial Services, Mr. Eoghan Murphy T.D., and his team. The meeting was part of Minister Murphy’s programme with the launch of the IFS IRELAND banner brand in Japan.
The meeting took place at Tokyo Stock Exchange. JPX, which consists of Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and Osaka Securities Exchange (OSE), was represented by Yoshihiro Isaka, Executive Officer, Head of Information Services and Atsushi Tabata , Executive Officer, Head of Global Strategy.

The Irish delegation was also given a tour of Tokyo Stock Exchange Market Center which highlighted how Corvil technology plays an instrumental role in the exchange’s business operations.
As to discussions at these meetings Minister Murphy noted that:
"The long-term outlook of the Japanese business model is closely aligned with Ireland's pursuit of sustainable economic recovery and future prosperity. I am grateful for the open and frank engagement with Japanese business leaders today and yesterday. I am confident that Ireland is the right fit for Japan in terms of our technology, talent and access to EU and international markets."
